Can I use nasal strips or mouth tape if I have sensitive skin?

Many people with sensitive skin use them without problems, but the safest first step is a 24-hour forearm patch test. Avoid applying over broken, irritated or sunburned skin, and stop use immediately if redness or itching develops.

I am allergic to plasters / band-aids. Can I still use these strips?

If you have a known allergy to acrylic adhesives or latex, check with a healthcare professional before use. HLK strips use a medical-grade acrylic adhesive tested to ISO 10993-10:2010 with a primary irritation score of 0, but individual allergies cannot be ruled out by testing alone.

How do I do a patch test?

Apply a small strip to the inside of your forearm and leave it for up to 24 hours. If you see redness, itching, swelling or a rash, remove it and do not use the product on your face. No reaction is a good sign, but it is not a guarantee.

Is this tool a medical diagnosis?
