A Spanish Founder Walks Our Floor
On 22 August 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. A (name withheld at the client’s request), founder of an emerging nasal-strip brand in Spain, to our Quanzhou production base. His trip started with the question every serious B2B partner eventually asks: “Can I see, with my own eyes, how my products are really made?” — and our answer is always yes.

The Welcome — From Reception to the Production Floor
Mr. A was received by George Wu (export lead), Jodie Chen (account manager) and Abby (production coordinator). After a quick hello — and the obligatory photo in front of our welcome display — the tour moved straight into the heart of the operation: the production lines.
Step by Step — How a Nasal Strip Is Actually Made
We walked Mr. A through every stage of the manufacturing process behind his future products:
- Raw material inspection — fabric, adhesive, backing paper and printed films are inspected on arrival against reference samples and the specs locked in during sampling.
- Adhesive coating — the pressure-sensitive adhesive is coated onto the base fabric under controlled humidity and temperature, then cured to lock in tack and skin-friendly performance.
- Printing — logos, batch codes and artwork are printed onto the strips and backing paper, with Pantone colour matching against the approved swatch from his brand book.
- Die-cutting — strips are cut to his specified shape and size using custom-made dies, with inline dimensional checks every production run.
- Assembly and packaging — strips are paired with backing paper, sealed in pouches or boxes, batch-coded and packed into export cartons ready for shipment to Spain.
Mr. A stopped at every station, asked detailed questions about tolerances, MOQ scaling and EU compliance, and signed off on each step — exactly the kind of in-person review that builds real confidence before mass production begins.
Partnership Review — and a Quick Two-Day Recess
After the production walk-through, the team sat down to review the next stage of the partnership: sample confirmation, MOQ ramp-up, EU MDR documentation and the shipment plan for Q4. The discussion was open, technical and forward-looking — the way we like every B2B kickoff to go.
Once the work was wrapped, Mr. A and our team spent two days exploring Fujian and Guangdong together — a chance to step out of the factory and into the local culture, and to keep the conversation going in a more relaxed setting.

Farewell — And a Thank-You from the Intern
When it was time to leave, Xiaobai — our graduate-student intern — personally drove Mr. A to Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport to catch his flight back to Spain. From the team at HLK: thank you for the visit, Mr. A, and for the trust you are placing in our factory. We are looking forward to seeing your brand on Spanish shelves.
