What Usually Goes Wrong in Distribution

Four failures that show up after the first container has landed.

Landed cost is decided by more than unit price

The Incoterm, the freight mode and the duty decide what the goods actually cost you. A cheap unit price quoted EXW is regularly the most expensive option on the table.

One product line rarely fills a planogram or a container

Distributors need a range, not a SKU. Building one usually means five factory relationships, five quality systems and five sets of documents.

Territory is the risk nobody puts in writing

You invest in a market — listings, distribution, local language packaging — then find the same pack being sold by someone else in it.

The second order matters more than the first

Distribution is a repeat business. If a reorder restarts development, or the second batch does not match the first, you lose the shelf space you just won.

What We Do About Each One

Four controls, all of them already running for buyers in 30+ countries.

01

Five product lines, one factory

Nasal strips, mouth tape, sleep patches, face tape and sports tape run on the same lines under the same quality system. You get a range from one supplier, with one QC system and one document set behind it.

02

Freight quoted the way you actually import

EXW, FOB from Xiamen or Shanghai, CIF, or duty-paid DDP to the US, EU, Brazil and the Middle East — so your landed cost is known before you commit rather than discovered at the port.

03

Territory discussed before you invest

Where a market justifies it, territory goes in writing. Where it does not, we say so at the enquiry stage rather than implying it and disappointing you after you have built the market.

04

Capacity you can plan a reorder calendar against

Five automated lines at 2M+ units a month, on 3,500 m² of usable floor area, running 1,500+ OEM orders every six months for buyers in 30+ countries.

Your Route

Three ways distributors buy from us, in ascending order of commitment.

Fastest to market
Stock range, tiered wholesale

Our existing range at wholesale prices, with or without your branding. Mixed-SKU orders and containers welcome, from 500 boxes.

If you want your name on it
Own brand on a stock specification

Your artwork on a specification we already run. From 500 boxes. No development cycle, so the first delivery is weeks rather than months.

If the market justifies it
Full OEM

Your own substrate, shape, adhesive and packaging, from 5,000 boxes. Tooling and artwork need volume to spread across, which is what sets that number.

Compare the wholesale route in detail on wholesale nasal strips, or read the OEM and private label process if you want your own specification. Selling on a marketplace, supplying a pharmacy chain, or launching your own brand? Each buyer type has its own route under solutions.

In Their Words

Two distributors, on the two things this page is about — documents and landed cost.

As a European distributor, regulatory compliance is everything for us. HLK's CE MDR and ISO 13485 certifications are genuine and well-documented. Their team speaks fluent English which makes communication seamless.

We import nasal strips in bulk for the Brazilian market. HLK offers competitive pricing without sacrificing quality. The DDP shipping option to São Paulo saves us a lot on logistics. Highly recommended for South American buyers.

Tell Us the Market and the Volume

Country, stock range or own brand, rough volume and the Incoterm you need. That is enough for us to quote landed cost and tell you honestly whether territory is on the table.

Distributor and Importer FAQs

What distributors ask before a first container.

Do you give exclusive territory?
Where the volume supports one, yes, and it goes in writing. Where it does not, we tell you at the enquiry stage rather than implying it. Territory is a commercial agreement, not a default, so raise it early if it is central to your plan.
Which Incoterms do you ship under?
EXW, FOB from Xiamen or Shanghai, CIF, and duty-paid DDP to the US, EU, Brazil and the Middle East. Which one is right depends on whether you have your own forwarder and whether you want the duty and clearance handled for you.
Can I mix several SKUs in one shipment?
Yes. Mixed-SKU orders and containers are welcome across the five product lines we run. That is how most distributors build a range without opening five separate factory relationships, and it keeps one quality system and one document set behind the whole shipment.
What is the minimum order for the stock range?
500 boxes, at tiered wholesale pricing. Fully custom packaging — printed boxes and display units — starts at 5,000 boxes. If you want to test before committing to either, samples start from 10 pieces and the stock sample kit is free for qualified buyers.
Will you sell the same product to someone else in my market?
Our stock range is sold to other buyers, so territory protection is something we agree commercially rather than something that happens by default. If exclusivity matters to your plan, say so at the enquiry stage and we will tell you honestly whether the volume supports it.
How do I check you are actually the factory?
Visit in person or over video, watch the production walkthroughs, check the public registrations yourself rather than taking our word for them — MHRA reference 38014 and EUDAMED manufacturer SRN CN-MF-000049679 — and ask for the documents in our name. Our guide on verifying a factory sets out what to ask any supplier before you pay.
